Founder & Creative Director – MANUELA TARQUINI
Manuela Tarquini is an internationally respected fashion designer whose illustrious career spans over four decades, uniting global production mastery with the finesse of artisanal couture. A graduate with distinction in Fashion Design and Technology, Manuela was fortunate enough to have had a veteran Valentino Seamstress as an auntie. Yet her untamed individual creative journey truly began immersed in the textile landscapes of Asia and Europe, gaining unparalleled expertise in international sourcing, traditional craft techniques, and supply chain innovation.
Thanks to this fruitful background in 1985, Manuela founded her eponymous label—MANUELA TARQUINI—an enterprise renowned for bespoke bridal gowns and intricately tailored pieces, serving discerning clientele and exclusive boutiques throughout the United Kingdom. Her work is characterised by an unwavering commitment to elegance, precision, and the timeless artistry of hand craftsmanship
A passionate advocate for sustainable design long before it became an industry imperative, Manuela pioneered eco-conscious practices within luxury fashion. Her dedication to heritage lacework, archival embroidery, and low-impact couture culminated in a 2017 retrospective exhibition show-piecing her artistic commissions at English National Trust location; country Estate Killerton House.
Over the years, Manuela’s creative vision has been sought by a diverse array of institutions and companies—from designing tutus for Royal Ballet School Uniforms to creating original costume pieces for major theatrical productions. Her ability to merge conceptual elegance with enduring craftsmanship continues to inspire a new generation of designers, artisans, and fashion connoisseurs worldwide.
Manuela Tarquini stands as a beacon of timeless design, ethical artistry, and bespoke excellence
